Your role at xpate:

• Safeguard our compliance framework: Supervise xpate's AML/CTPF/sanctions risk policy, making sure our internal controls are always ahead of regulatory demands.
• Keep us in line with the latest regulations: Monitor the AML/CTPF/sanctions regulatory landscape in Latvia and Europe and adapt our systems to the latest changes.
• Train and empower our people: Develop and deliver yearly AML/CTPF/sanctions training, ensuring every employee knows how to stay compliant and spot risks.
• Guide with transparency: Report regularly to the Board on xpate's risk profile, control systems, and ongoing improvements.
• Close the gaps: Continuously review and refine AML/CTPF/sanctions policies and procedures so they're effective, practical, and always up to date.
• Act with vigilance: Review suspicious activity reports, escalate when necessary, and ensure the company responds swiftly and effectively to risks.
• Support the team: Provide clear advice and day-to-day support to employees so compliance is second nature.
• Strengthen our ecosystem: Ensure xpate has the people, capital, and tech to stay ahead of emerging risks.

You'll work hand in hand with:

• The board&senior leadership to keep compliance at the heart of strategy.
• Risk&compliance teams to ensure business growth aligns with AML/CTPF/sanctions requirements.
• External regulators and auditors to ensure xpate's control system stands up to the highest scrutiny.

• You have 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• You combine sharp regulatory knowledge with a practical mindset to build systems that work.
• You're experienced in AML/CTPF/sanctions supervision and confident in managing compliance at scale.
• You're proactive in spotting risks before they become problems.
• You can translate complex regulations into clear, actionable steps for for everybody across the organisation.
• You thrive on responsibility and lead with authority and clarity.
