IT Support Engineer

Permanent employee, Full-time · Riga

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team and take ownership of internal IT operations. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth, secure and reliable technology environment for our employees. You will be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day IT support, hardware, software management and internal systems administration.
Your role at xpate:
  • Oversee the procurement, lifecycle management, and support of hardware, including computers, accessories, and other IT-related devices.

  • Administer and support Google Workspace, Atlassian, and other Software as a Service (SaaS) tools.

  • Provide technical support to internal users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and access-related issues.

  • Automate and maintain routine IT tasks and workflows using tools such as n8n, Zapier, and Make; optionally leverage AWS where appropriate.

  • Manage centralized device administration using Jamf Mobile Device Management (MDM) and maintain accurate asset inventory in Snipe-IT.
    Develop, maintain, and improve internal technical documentation and support guides.

  • Monitor internal systems and end-user environments to ensure stable and uninterrupted operations.

  • Coordinate with and supervise third-party IT service providers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.

We’re ready to meet you, if…
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT Support / IT Engineer / System Support role.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with macOS (Windows and Linux are a plus).
  • Good understanding of networking basics (Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls, DNS).
  • Experience with SaaS tools and cloud‑based work environments.
  • Knowledge of endpoint management and security best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working in an office‑based environment (5 days per week).
  • English level: B2 or higher.
